I wanted corps commanders to be
represented by two mounted figures, the
commanding officer and a staff officer (not
an ADC as I wanted to keep ADCs on
individual bases), on a 30mm round base –
like the ones I bought specially at Carronade
(see Post 23).
I made a start with an Austrian Corps
Commander base. So far, there was no sign
of any Pendraken staff officers so I used a
couple of Old Glory figures from pack
NAP222 (see Post 24). I painted them first. If
the next step was to simply glue the riders
onto their horses, painting them first would
have been a wise move as they were easier to
paint separately. However...
