Claymore 2013
My trip to Edinburgh’s annual wargames show brought home a clutch of Magister Militum packs. Pendraken only had one new pack available, hot off the mould: a very nice Austrian limber with mounted officer and gunner slouching along. In my quest for more figure poses, I had decided recently that I was quite happy mixing a few Magister Militum Austrian marching figures into Pendraken marching units (see Post 40 for comparison) so I picked up a pack of each Austrian marching figure, and some other interesting and useful Magister Militum figures as well. I also purchased a can of Army Painter desert yellow spray primer – which, depending on test results, may well become my light colour primer of choice.
