I painted a couple more TimeCast 10mm Napoleonic German buildings. This time, I used an undercoat of brown spray. The walls and timbers of the TimeCast buildings are not textured so there are a lot of flat areas to cover. The damaged corner and brickwork on what is the smallest TimeCast house is a nice detail. There are a couple of missing timber frames above two windows on the gable end of this building. I painted the space as timber planking. Because of its size and features this model, I thought, was the most useful of the TimeCast range and well worth keeping on the 1809 project’s shopping list.
