I painted the repointed spear-shaped finials (see Post 44) of the Pendraken Hungarian line infantry standards. I tried to give them a bit more of a decorated finial look than just the usual pinhead. My Hungarian line officer conversion (see Post 44) was also a nice painting exercise, giving me confidence that I could afford to be more
adventurous with the green stuff in the future. I noticed already a slight difference in painting styles between my earlier Hungarian unit (with yellow facings) and my later one (with dark blue facings). Not that I imagined this would be terribly noticeable once based and on the tabletop.
