Finishing Rosenberg and His Staff Officer
As I mentioned in Post 139, I wanted to
slightly change the modelling of the
collar of my Rosenberg figure. I made
only a few cuts with a scalpel but the
change was worth it I thought. I also
painted some more detail to finish off the
figure.
collars and cuffs being green,
black, or red. The green I
chose for the coat was
Foundry’s Soviet Equipment
Green 81 triad and I gave him
black collar and cuffs – the cuffs
that I, unfortunately, modelled the
wrong way round (see Post 139).
I painted my converted Austrian
officer (see Post 134) as a staff officer
for Rosenberg. The double-breasted
coats of Austrian staff officers are
represented in varying degrees of dark
green from the almost black to bright green;
